This trekking paradise is quite close to ‘Roopkund’ from where the skeletal remains of the Paleolithic man have been discovered. Brahmtal lake is surrounded by beautiful snow-clad peaks. The trek to Brahmtal begins from Ratgaon, 15 km from Tharali, a small village on the banks of Pindar river. Tharali can be reached via KarnPrayag connected by a motorable road.
